What is a Genuine Adobe Service?

Genuine Adobe Service (AGS) is a free service that periodically verifies the authenticity of Adobe applications on your computer and notifies customers if they are not. AGS can help protect customer computers from vulnerabilities and malicious malware that can appear in applications.

The service is designed to:
• Periodically authenticate Adobe applications installed on your device.
• Notifies you with pop-ups and in-app notifications if non-genuine Adobe applications are found.
• Please provide details on how to solve the problem using a message.
• Provides access to a dedicated customer service team through notifications.

Only genuine Adobe apps and services provide the latest features and functionality, including ongoing support and the latest security updates. Therefore, to prevent fraudulent activity and protect your machine, Adobe may disable an identified fake Adobe application.
